What is executive coaching?

Executive coaching is a process of developing a relationship in which the coach and the client engage in purposeful dialogue based upon rapport and trust. Kay establishes credibility and chemistry with her clients by building trust through openness regarding her challenges and giving coherent explanations for her practices and techniques during the coaching process.

A good coach asks questions. Kay’s intuition and instincts guide her to ask questions which get at the heart of the issues, while respecting the client and creating a safe and fair atmosphere for openness.
Kay practices her model of Positive Direct Communication, a model of communication honesty and respect, during which the client feels understood and heard, while receiving specific feedback.

Kay’s questions unearth what is valuable to the client. The value and power of the coaching dialogue lies primarily in the Kay’s ability to question and clarify.

All executive coaching with Kay Wilson begins with a 360 degree assessment. Further assessments may be recommended during the coaching contract.

Executive coaching is confidential. The client may discuss his coaching with others, but Kay Wilson will not reveal, even to the company who hired her, the subject or contents of her coaching sessions with the executive client.
