  5. Do you regularly survey your employees on workplace environment issues?
  6. Do you have a safe and fair process by which employees can air complaints informally (without litigation)?
  7. Do you have written policies for disciplining employees who engage in inappropriate conduct?
  8. Do your managers enforce your policies uniformly and consistently?
  9. Do you review the conduct and style of managers who are consistently the subject of complaints by employees?
  10. Do you take every complaint seriously?
