Kay Wilson Speaks

Each of the following programs is available as a keynote or a seminar.

Diversity University

Diversity is here. Which is good, because in today’s world of business, it’s ALL HANDS ON DECK.
We need every person to be harnessed according to their talents in order to collaborate as a team
to solve pressing challenges.

DIVERSITY UNIVERSITY WILL TEACH YOU THE FOLLOWING:

  • The Diversity Imperative
  • Fair Uses of Power
  • Managing Judgment and Perception in the Workplace
  • Perception is Projection
  • The Key Differences to Manage
  • Socially Competent Behavior
  • Positive Direct Communication
  • Intentional Leadership

Diversity University evolved from diversity training that Kay Wilson
designed while serving as an attorney for the United States Postal
Service law department. At the time, Attorney Wilson was delivering
diversity training to supervisors and managers in a production
environment (mail processing plants). Her training was well received
and Attorney Wilson received awards for her diversity programming
initiatives.

Over time, Diversity University grew to incorporate ideas from emotional
intelligence studies, leadership principles, social dynamics research,
and positive psychology. Attorney Wilson is an avid reader of relevant
works in the areas of psychology, crisis management, management
theory, and communication sciences.

Because of her background as an employment lawyer and litigator,
Attorney Wilson brings unique perspective to the topic of diversity and
the opportunities it presents.
